WEARTO PICK OF THE WEEK #44: Honey Goodness!

Many ask us, what is this Manuka Honey magic that we keep talking about?

Manuka honey is gathered in New Zealand from the manuka bush, Leptospermum scoparium, which grows uncultivated throughout New Zealand. Many New Zealanders share the common wisdom that manuka honey is a superior treatment for wound infections.

Why so?

Active manuka honey has antibacterial activity due primarily to hydrogen peroxide formed in a “slow-release” manner by the enzyme glucose oxidase present in honey, which can vary widely in potency.

Many believe that there are anti-aging properties to using manuka honey as well!

This is what we do with manuka honey. We pack it all into a bottle of body lotion that is light and easily absorbed, this product will provide daily nourishment to repair and soothe your skin. It also contains nutrient-rich Royal Jelly for assisting with skin softness and tone.

Royal Jelly is another product of nature that we love.

Royal Jelly is a milky like substance created by the worker Bees. The Jelly is secreted from glands in the Bee’s head. It is known as Bees Milk. ( a bit like Colostrum from a cow) It is made for the nourishment of the Queen Bee.

Benefits

  • Contains some of the most essential nutrients like Minerals, Enzymes and Amino Acids.
  • With regular use Royal Jelly may assist with more firmer and elastic skin.
  • May also assist with a more softer and smoother feel.
