Inspired by Billy Strayhorn’s song “Lush Life”, 72 Smalldive is an essential and exclusive address for the knowing. 72 Smalldive aims to build a deluxe nook where speculative philosophy meets passion, where products are made with hand and felt with heart. 72 Smalldive strives to seek a balance between the use of machinery and handcrafted skills in the production of its creations as it feels that design without artisan skills is 2 dimensional. To ensure that craft skills and craft knowledge are passed on to the next generation, artisans need the opportunities to justify and sustain their trade. Therefore 72 Smalldive endeavours to involve artisans in the making of its products. Through this ethos it hopes to inculcate a new perspective towards consumption – where the context and history of design and craft skills precede before visual aesthetics and the material worth of a product. Style wise, the 72 Smalldive individual (a moderate minimalist) is eclectic, understated and at times nonchalant.

72 Smalldive is available at:

MYMU was born out of a longtime passion for the classic Argentine alpargatas, a casual espadrille shoe. Gabriela Lanardonne’s designs for MYMU are at once casually whimsical and elegant. Offered for both men and women in a variety of styles from the boat shoe-esque Lawrence with leather ties to an ever-changing array of printed creations recalling Lanardonne’s world adventures, the MYMU shoe lends a touch of understated sophistication to any occasion when a flat is ideal. Drawing inspiration from her travels and friends, Lanardonne offers a kaleidoscope of patterns, colors and fabrics like canvas, silk, nylon and leather to create an accessory to suit any outfit. The bright fuchsia and black soled-Poppy version adds an instant pop to a simple jeans and t-shirt ensemble, while a soft, acqua pair of Marisa’s is the perfect counterpoint to a breezy, feminine dress.
Always elegant, luxuriously comfortable: the MYMU shoe is for anyone with a spirit of discovery and a discerning eye.
