Color My World

without comments

Turning 30 makes me think perhaps I should make some changes.
Adding colors to my all black wardrobe? Maybe!

The Olsen Twins

without comments

Their first book is well, not about the Olsen twins.
They dedicated it to the influences in their lives. And these include Karl Lagerfeld, Lauren Hutton, John Galliano and DVF, to name a few.

Check out the scoop here.

Motorcycle Happiness

Manic Street Preachers will be coming to Singapore for the very first time! Mark this date down in your calendar, 24 Nov, Monday at Fort Canning Park. We’ve got our tickets! If you haven’t get your tickets, please do youself a favour and go get your tickets here.  This is probably your only chance to catch the Manics live! We can’t wait to sing along to Little Baby Nothing, “You are pure, you are snow. We are the useless sluts that they mould.”

Here’s one of our fave tracks off their debut album, Generation Terrorists, Love Sweet Exile. SWEET!

Another Black

without comments

I bought another black dress. Now that statement came from my significant half whose wardrobe is filled with tons of black tee shirts. Do I need to justify? Not really. I love my black.

Madonna – Fabulous at 50

without comments

My eyes have been glued to CNN, CNBC and CNA for the past few weeks since the financial “tsunami” started. It was a breath of fresh air when Madonna took centre stage on News 5 Tonight two days ago. Madonna is no longer Mrs Ritchie. Thing is, I don’t think she was ever a “Mrs Ritchie” to begin with. She and Guy are independent individuals, loads of creativity, talented in their own fields, coming together in a union. And what a great union it has been! While it lasted, I believed it was good for them!
HEY! This entry is not about love and marriage!
It’s about looking FABULOUS at 50! Look at Madonna!
I wanna be like her at 50!
This is a picture of her taken recently at the premiere of her film, Filth and Wisdom.

Burberry Prorsum Spring 09

without comments

For many of you who have been reading SLS’s blog (thank you!), you will know that I am very fond of Christopher Bailey’s work. He does fantastic work for Burbery Prorsum and he has never failed to deliver!
I love what he did for Burberry Prorsum Spring 09. Signature Burberry coats were given given a fresh coat of paint! Duo shades! Lovely! The shapes of the pants, skirts and dresses are so wearable. Love! Love! Love!

Mr Bailey!
