Strictly By Appointment

without comments

Hi guys, we need to highlight this again. For now you’ve got to make an appointment to see the new stuff. Call us in advance so that we can arrange a day and time to visit the store. We are still in the midst of sorting out some stuff, hence the delay of the normal opening retail hours. Please bear with us for this crazy moment. We seek your patience and understanding, it’s well worth the wait in order for everyone to enjoy his/her shopping experience with us. But for now, is strictly by appointment.

Cheers!

Obesity And Speed. R.I.P

without comments

Be careful what you wish for it may come true… trapped in the darkness of a nightmare.

OnS is a New York-based label created by Josh and Lyz. They took horror to the streets with their Fall Collection, inspired by nightmares, dreamscapes, ghouls and black metal concert tours.

We are truly disappointed with the crew at OnS. Darkness will not fill the sky after all as OnS will not hit our store. I must still say we truely love a black metal inspired tee. Probably we will find that in another brand. As always in our motto, Keep it brutal!

You lucky folks! Here’s a sneak preview of what’s to come for Rotter And Friends. Soon you have a chance to own a piece of RnF so stay tune! To view the whole collection remember to make an appointment with us.

A little history about RnF, A fresh New York-based clothing label. Jess Rotter and Alison Zero, women that promote rock bands by day at Girlie Action Media New York, are the masterminds of this whimsical line. The tees’ prints are playful and heartfelt – a bulk of them inspired by music (which led to famed New York music shop, Other Music, to sell special LP-packaged shirts back in December). Jess Rotter who is also a illustrator held her debut art exhibition titled “Lovebites” at X-girl NYC store.

Part of the indie-label’s appeal is that the tees feature hand-drawn, wickedly irreverent prints. The ladies of Rotter And Friends wanted to do something that seemed a bit more tactile, warm, nostalgic – no skulls or deer antler graphics allowed! If they see another skull tshirt around, they would probably kill themselves. The Fall/Winter 2007 collection includes an ode to Neil Young’s classic album, “On the Beach,” a call to find the disappearing Chickasaw County songstress Bobbie Gentry, and a slew of Jess Rotter’s crazy dancing hand-drawn characters. They’ve highlighted their most coveted/favourite records and artists from the past just for you. These acts of passion are precisely what make R & F stand out.

We were supposed to be in london last night for the Irregular Choice Brand Meeting and could be sitting at some nice cafe having english breakfast. We hate to say but we couldn’t make it to London! Argh! So sorry guys… Danny and his crew at Irregular Choice are great people to work with and we have truely let them down this time. Hope the brand Meeting went well. We hope to see you in the next Brand Meeting. We promise we will make it this time!

As Brandon Flowers of The Killers sang, “I see London, I see Sam’s Town, holds my hand and let’s my hair down. Rolls that world right off my shoulder. I see London, I see Sam’s Town now!”
